I have dark brown curly hair. I can cut it, color a little but i cant staighten it PLZ HELP!!

I, too, have extremely dark, extremely curly hair. Only once in my life has it been straightened and this is how they did it:

They first washed it with a hydrating shampoo then followed up with a protein conditioner and hair serem. I waited 10 minutes then rinsed it all out.

Then, they towel dried my hair before taking a brush and hair dryer to it in order to straighten it out as far as they could.

Then, when I looked like a poodle thrown into a dryer, they took a CERAMIC hair flat iron and straightened it the rest of the way.

Afterwards, they put more serem in my hair to keep it from getting so frizzy.

CAUTION: Straightening your hair will cause it to be EXTREMELY fuzzy!!!!

I have brown curly hair too, and I wanted to keep the curls, but I didn't know how to make them look emo (by the way, my avatar is NOT what my hair looks like). I went to a stylist, and they said that the best way to make curls look emo (a very hard thing to do!) is to make a messy part on one side (not perfect-that looks weird and makes one side lose volume) and to sort-of come curls forward, scrunch them, and then set them with a little gel (like BigSexyHair Volumizing gel), and air-dry. It also helps to have some longish bangs (like, just past the eyes). When your hair is dry, you can finger-comb the curls out, skake your hair out, and get awesome volume. It looks wild and mysterious, but is actually quite easy to do. My hair looks like the chick's on the bottom of the page I listed under the sources. (the girl from Australia)

I'm not an emo! and i hate emo! but your asking for an advice here: don't straighten it! as i could see on other emo persons they have curl colored hair! i would say just colored your hair into red one try triple colors of your air! maybe you could try and not that! try a highlight i mean one side of your hair is light colored like pink! oink is a good color for highlights! i you really want to cut your hair try short layered one! maybe it looks good with highlights
