how can i make my hair messy i have short layers on top and long layers under it and i want my short layers to actually look messy and pumped up to show how short it is most emos have it in UK now its like that and they put a little bow on it it looks very cute anyone knows how to do it?? please help

gel or hairspray.....that's what i do. i have mine like that just spread gel on your palms and pick up the top layers with fingertips.....or you could tease it but my hair don't look right when i do that. then just get a bow or clip. i use ribbon or wide headbands. but i normally wear bandannas of some sort.

First straighten your hair if not already straight. Then flip your hair upside down and hair spray it. Then flip your hair back to normal position and check it. If not messy enough repeat what I said before and this time run your finger through your hair and whatever else you think may make it more messy then spray it with hairspray. If this doesn't work good enough blow dry your wet hair when your hair is flipped upside down then do what I mention above
