I wanna do my hair like this, but I don't want it to look "Emo" in any way?

I'm not emo, lol far from it but I'm gonna dye my hair this weekend and I wanted to do something new. Right now I have brown hair with blonde highlights in it. My hair is kinda layered and the front part is more blonde than the rest but I have streaks all around. I want to get rid of all the streaks and have them like dye it back to my real colour expect in the front I want to dye it all blonde. Like I have blonde, brown, blonde, brown. I want to make it like 4 streaks of blonde and no brown. So it would be like not even half of my head blonde, less than half and the rest brown. Is that emo 'cuz I know they put like different colours in their hair? Cuz if it is then I don't even wanna do it.

Blonde and brown highlights are as far from the emo spectrum as you can get. I take cosmetology classes and I particularly do hair color..I have like...5 different colors and shades in my hair...it would be easier if you had a picture of the style you wanted but if you want a lot of blonde ask of chunky blonde highlighs.

lol its all depends on how you think you will look. but something like that might make you look funny. go talk to your hair dresser about it.

I cant really picture the style, but emo would be black, deep purple, or any streaks those colours. Having highlights isnot emo as they range the colours used to similar tones so they become peppered. i wouldnt worry about it, if you dress indie then the hairstyle will work etc. any style will. its hair.

What's with all this "is that emo" crap? Who cares if it's emo.....and no emo hair is normally dark or black. Punks use color. If you want to stereotype.
