i basically want to have an emo style haircut with lots of long and short layers and a side fringe covering my eye but scared that the short layers will curl as my baby hairs curl!!!!!!!!!! any suggestions as to what i can do...?????

blow dry your hair/straigten it

or if you want it to stay straight... get it chemically straighten at a salon

yea...you should probrobly get the cut you want...but definatley buy a straightner...also if you dry it with a round brush it's generally straighter...here's a hairstyle where you only have to straighten the bangs:
