how can i explain one of those to my stylist

what should i say i want.

also i want bangs that like swoop over my face

someone said choppy, but what does choppy mean?

Im really over it, and its been done too many times, check into whats stylish now, other than what was last year.

it's easiest to just bring in a picture of what you want.

it's extremely hard to explain those types of haircuts to stylists, because they haven't been trained in that kind.

but if you really really don't want to bring in a picture, mention that you want extreme layers cut with a razor.

you know what your best bet is to take them a picture of what you want your hair to look like... i have personaly gone through the same problem and ended up not getting even close to the hair cut i wanted...

take a picture with you it works so much better

i'd also make sure you'd go with a younger stylist who does the kind of hair you want.

they are usually more up to date with trends and new styling techniques than older stylists

i use to use my mom's hairdresser and she was so afraid to cut anything off.i had long blonde hair and i was so bored with it

so i went with someone new and i love it

choppy usually means alot of layers cut.

lol say to them "short, choppy layers"

they will understand that perfectly well...!

oh and choppy basically means.. random un-neat layers!

warning you though, you will need to straighten your hair everyday with short choppy layers because when i used to have the whole "emo hair" i woke up every morning with my layers at a 90 degree angle. ahahahah!

and, emo/scene fashion is kind of going out now... so just think about it carefully!

especially if you have lovely long hair :D
