I love emocore music, and dress emo, and I feel like emos do. But my hair is long past my shoulders, and dark blonde. I want it short and black but my mom would freak out.

Part of emo(ism) is that you want to express yourself freely. If you have all the other stuff and not the hair so what?
As for what you can do is maybe compromise with mom. Your hair doesn't have to be black and short, it can be long and any number of colors (don't do the harsh primary colors because the metal in the dies are really bad for your hair.) What about carrot top orange and short? Talk to your mom. You might be surprised what she might agree to.
