How to get shaggy, emo/surf/anime hair?

I have thick hair which falls straight etc. I d like to have one of those creative anime haircuts but none of the gels/hairspay etc. are strong enough to both hold and look natural.

I d like to know which haircare products should i use(but the important thing is to tell about something global becouse i cant find products like garnier fructis surf or got2b shagged out),with the explanation how to use them, and how to cut the hair(or tell my hairdresser).

why do you want to look like someone else, be yourself grow your hair like you want it, I have a mullet and i like it that way, some people diss me, but many more people think its awesome!

u need to blow it out flat with your hands...then use a very small flat iron after that lube your finger tips with manipulator funky gunk that rocks..its blue. then piece it with your fingers and make it spiky they way you want and smooth out the front. then spray with hair spray.

take the pictures you posted to get your hair cut by a hairdresser..while she styles it ask her to tell you what shes doing and what shes using and then try to mock it at home..good luck

I am a hairdresser of 15 yrs. get a heavily textured razor cut and use American Crew's Fiber or Forming Cream.Then use a good strong hairspray.

Ok hon im sorry but those pix arent cute...those guys obviously are having major bad hair days the first hairstyle is somewhat ok but emo? ok if u wanna be emo dont go and copy somebody else start a trend and be different...come on i no u dont wanna look like you took a big flat iron to yr head like ryan cabrera wanna be's just find something that fits for u and if u really want i go to a hairstyles so that she can shape the cut for u....maybe it would be hot, i had a thing for boys w hair in their eyes a while back...if only u knew.
