Ok i want a new haircut and some color that will standout i have short like... BARLEY touching shoulders hair....

But my dad wont let me get red.... I REALLY LIKE THE RED!!!

I went to a hair dresser and she suggested red and i really love that color and the haircut... I DONT WANT MY WHOLE HAIR COLORED... i just want the bangs Just like this one... when i came across it i was in love with it!!!! it was the thing i wanted!!! What do suggest a color?

OR how do you think i can convince my dad?

I allready told him i can try the wash out in the shower ones but he just yelled at me... he might agrea to natrual colors BUT i want a popout color what can i do???

I had the exact same problem with my dad when i wanted to dye my bangs blue.

I gave him about a month to think it over and by then he said just do do what i want.

Let your dad think it over. And then if that doesnt work tell him that its your hair and its a way to express your creativity. And i would suggest the temporary so in you dont like it on yourself it will wash out. And reassure your dad you wont change just you hair color.

If you want a naturalish color there are some red natural colors that look kind of redish purple. One that I know of is 'chocolate cherry' from L'Oreal

Instead of red, you can get blonde bangs while the rest of your hair is brown or black. That's a natural color AND pops just like the red.

Maybe get a darker red--instead of something so vibrant. I bet the brightness of it is what is turning your dad off. Get a more "maroon" tone in it, or something that looks like a red brunette, but still stands out as red. You'll get the same look, just not as fake/punky.

it's realllllllllllly hard to tell. you have something in front of your face... but just dont make your dad any angrier than he is. just wait a while then ask him again. explain to him that you dont want that much red. i would suggest a darker tone of red though.. maybe he'd go for that?

Ok, well basically i don't think u could convince him.

Anyway i think your best shot would be to get clip in extensions, i know it sounds weird for bangs but it works. That way you can take them in and out whenever you want.

If you don't think your dad would let u go behind his back, as mean as it sounds, leave them in your bag or pocket once you are out of his sight clip them in, simple. It is better if you don't have to go behind his back but if its the only way

And as much as u like the stand out colours u can get the same effect but using brown and blonde or black and blonde

Maybii if you find out what he see's wrong with them, like he might think they are not appropiate for school or whateva, u can explain that with clip in extensions you can take them out whenever they are inappropriate.

I know its not the same as dying it and having it permanent but keep in mind when u die your hair with 'neon' and 'fluro' colours they fade, with synthetic hair extensions the colour will stay and won't wear, fade or grow out

Oh and to all those people saying emo and loser and poser or saying u dont like it then not helping, get lost, let her get what she wants, it is her choice, emos are people too, we are who we are and we let it show!
